The five star Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol in Jochberg in the Kitzbühel Alps opened in December 2011. The hotel had originally opened in 2009 under the name of Royal SPA Kitzbühel Hotel***** before Kempinski Hotels took over the premises in 2011. Today, the hotel features 156 rooms and suites and the unique „Kempinski The Spa“.

Hence the creative team of Schletterer created a SPA full of surprises and innovations. Classical treatments are combined with traditional and modern therapies in order to create a soothing and relaxing SPA experience. The SPA features a Hildegard von Bingen steam bath which combines the positive effects of crystals, herbs and steam, as well as a special bath and sauna featuring the renowned Tirolean Mineral Oil, and treatments with the Tirolean Speik soap.
The team of Schletterer has implemented various inventions in the field of visual design which contribute essentially to the SPA’s special appeal. The walls and ceilings of the entire SPA area are covered with the outlines of the hills and valleys of the surrounding area. The exclusive use of local and natural materials, such as limestone or matured timber, pays tribute to the authenticity of the hotel’s natural surroundings. Modern materials and surfaces add creative and exciting accents.
Kempinski The Spa, which is the highlight of the hotel, is dominated by the central theme of luxury which is reflected in the entire SPA area. The Crystal SPA Suite, the Pearl SPA Suite and the Sole SPA Suite are private SPA suites that leave nothing to be desired.
